Finohas’s personal encounter with God changed the direction of his life and brought him to India Bible College and Seminary to prepare for a life of reaching the unreached for Christ.

Praise God for bringing new Spirit-filled life to those who name His name but who have not known him in a personal relationship.

Finohas comes from Kerala and came from a Christian family but he did not know Jesus Christ in any personal way. He did not experience any fellowship with God.

Without God, he experienced constant fear in his life. He even had to go to the hospital to be treated for physical symptoms of chronic hypertension. He could not sleep at nights and could not eat most foods because they upset his stomach.

In January 2020, he lay on his bed and God spoke to him through Matthew 6:33: “Seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.” It was the first time Finohas experienced a direct encounter with God. He began to weep and pray, and this continued over the next two months.

Then God poured out His Holy Spirit into Finohas, and Finohas surrendered his life to whatever God asked of him. He quickly knew that God was calling him into a ministry of teaching and evangelism. His pastor guided him to India Bible College and Seminary for training, and he is now part of the bachelor of theology program.

Many students like Finohas who enter IGO training centers lack financial resources to fulfill the calling God has placed upon them. You can help by pledging $60-120/month for each student. You can help support an evangelist working in an unreached area of India by committing $100-250 a month (depending on location and family situation). We welcome your partial support. Each student needs regular prayer support.

Pray God’s provision for each IGO student and evangelist. Pray about your own involvement in their lives and ministries in this New Year.
